The Chernin Group and AT&T Create New Venture to Acquire, Invest In and Launch Online Video Businesses
AT&T* and The Chernin Group, which manages and invests in media businesses around the world, today announced the formation of a venture to acquire, invest in and launch over-the-top (OTT) video services.
The board of directors of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has authorized the repurchase of up to 300 million shares, representing approximately 6 percent of AT&T common shares outstanding, with no expiration date.
AT&T declared a quarterly dividend of $0.46 a share on the company’s common shares. The dividend is payable on May 1, 2014 to stockholders of record at the close of business on April 10, 2014.
