As we come to the final stretch of the first class of the AT&T Aspire Accelerator, we were on the road again last week – this time to Dallas, Texas. Over three days, the Accelerator companies were able to meet with key AT&T executives, interact with local education leaders, and experience some classic Texas BBQ (not to mention classic HOT Texas weather!). The highlights ran the gamut:

  • Meeting with AT&T leaders in Corporate Strategy, Business Solutions, Product Development, and Citizenship & Sustainability
  • Engaging with students from the Innovation, Design Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA), a new personalized learning high school
  • Participating in a half-day event with the Dallas Entrepreneur Center on the power of innovation in education
  • Sneaking away from our computers for a tour of AT&T Stadium (While it didn’t make a 49ers fan like me start to wonder if I should cheer for the COWBOYS, I do have to admit that everything is bigger in Texas!)

Thank you to the broader Dallas entrepreneur community for welcoming the Aspire Accelerator with welcome arms. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
