Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (2010, 2012-13)

AT&T is listed on the Carbon Disclosure Project's Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index, which includes companies that have demonstrated strong internal data management practices for the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions and energy use. 

Dow Jones Sustainability Index

North America (2010-2013)

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index North America is based on a rigorous analysis of corporate, economic, environmental and social performance. The index tracks the performance of the top 20 percent of the 600 biggest North American companies in the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index that lead the field in terms of sustainability.

100 Best Corporate Citizens List

CR Magazine (2011-2014)

This corporate citizenship ranking recognizes top corporate citizens based on publicly available environmental, social and governance data. AT&T was ranked 1st on the annual list of the Best Corporate Citizens by CR Magazine in 2013. 

FTSE4Good Index (2010-2013)

AT&T continues to be a member company of the FTSE4Good Index. As institutional investors around the world put increasing focus on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices of the companies they invest in, ESG risk measures are an increasingly important part of the investment process.

Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register (2014)

AT&T is a member of the Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register, one of the oldest socially responsible investing organizations. 

Maplecroft Climate Innovation Index (inception-2014)

AT&T ranked 22 of 100 on the U.S. list, and increased its listing to 53rd on the global Leaders and Benchmark Indices.

Governors Highway Safety Association Achievement Award (2014)

AT&T received the 2014 Peter K. O'Rourke Special Achievement Award in recognition of outstanding highway safety accomplishments in 2013 for theIt Can Wait movement against texting while driving.

Calvert Social Index Fund (2012)

AT&T remains in the Top 10 Holdings of the Calvert Social Index Fund, which tracks corporate sustainability progress as well as financial indicators.

The Civic 50 identifies and recognizes companies for their commitment to improving the quality of life in the communities where they do business. Presidential Volunteer Service Award (2007-2014)

In 2014, more than 4,000 AT&T employees received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, the highest award recognizing employee volunteerism. A record number of employees volunteered more than 100 hours in 2013! We are proud of our employees’ commitment to service.
