Time flies when you are having fun! Oh, and also when you are incredibly busy and productive.
It was just one month ago that we kicked off the inaugural AT&T Aspire Accelerator in San Francisco. The five participating organizations came to the Bay Area from across the country to learn from each other, AT&T executives and our Accelerator collaborators.
The kickoff was an exciting opening to the program – and it was just the beginning.
For me, the highlight of the three days was being able to spend time with a group of entrepreneurs that are so passionate about education and technology. In particular, I was inspired by how these leaders are driving toward their business needs of today (increase conversion! Improve the teacher onboarding process! Get 10,000 more students on the platform!) without losing sight of a long-term vision of a world where technology and education seamlessly help students succeed.
The kickoff was an exciting opening to the program – and it was just the beginning. In mid-June the class traveled to Washington, DC to meet with policy makers, technology leaders and mentors – look for a recap of that trip in the coming weeks. And make sure to follow @ConnectToGood for real-time updates from the companies throughout the program.
We’re thrilled (and proud!) to see some of our Aspire Accelerator companies in the news. Check them out to learn more:
