Human vs. Machine

After hours of online classes and project work, we made it! We are the first three AT&T employees to graduate from the Georgia Tech Online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMS CS) program. And as we like to say, if you can make it through the Machine Learning course, the rest is a breeze [and by breeze we mean gale force winds].

For about $7,000, we could earn an advanced degree from a world-renowned university – completely online without ever setting foot in a classroom.

Last year, we enrolled in this new program offered by our company in collaboration with Georgia Tech and Udacity. For about $7,000, we could earn an advanced degree from a world-renowned university – completely online without ever setting foot in a classroom. And thanks to company-funded tuition reimbursements, that cost was even lower.

While some of us had been out of school longer than others, we all came to the program looking to take our skills to the next level. The program attracted us for a variety of reasons: cost, flexibility and the credibility of an online degree from a prestigious university.

We got all that and more.

The unique learning environment presented interesting concepts from knowledgeable professors and engaging class discussions. The experience has inspired us to think and innovate at a whole new level. And we are applying all the advanced concepts from classes to different aspects of our professional and personal life.

We highly recommend this program to any student who wants to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science. The quality of the education combined with the very affordable price tag makes this program too good to pass up. Classes are tough and stressful at times, but if you work hard through them, it is a very rewarding learning experience.
