2015 Malaysia Developers’ Day finally came to an end. “Team Loopee” won the US$10,000 grand prize during the 24-hour application development contest.
The winning app, called “Loopee” is a smart toilet management cleaning system app. “Team Loopee” also won the Best App for Smart City Solutions category and a US$1,000 prize.
The event drew 128 contestants from all over Asia. The following teams and members took home prizes out of the 18 participating teams and 18 apps developed at the event:
- Best app for Community Involvement – Team #TWITS for an app called “Kale Collective” to reduce the inventory of expired food
- Best app for Smart City Solutions – Team Loopee for a smart toilet management cleaning system app
- Best app for Commercialization – Team Trevol for an app that can help users to plan their itineraries during travel
