A Call to the Moon…45 Years Ago
This Sunday is the 45th anniversary of when Apollo 11’s Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took the first steps on the moon. During the initial 21-hour foray onto the lunar surface, they received a telephone call from President Nixon at the White House.
