AT&T Honored as a 2020 Women on Boards Winning ‘W’ Company for 2014
AT&T received this honor for recognizing the importance of diversity by having at least 20 percent of its board comprised of women.
The 2020 Women on Boards campaign has recognized AT&T as a Winning ‘W’ company for 2014. AT&T received this honor for recognizing the importance of diversity by having at least 20 percent of its board comprised of women. As of year-end 2014, AT&T’s Board of Directors was 29 percent female.
2020 Women on Boards is a national campaign to increase the percentage of women on U.S. company boards to 20 percent or greater by the year 2020. The campaign redefines successful corporate governance, gender diversity standards, and creates a cultural imperative for corporate action.
