What do Online Dating, Professional Networking and Mentoring Students Have in Common?

Did you know May is Teacher Appreciation month? At AT&T, we support teachers and students all year round, but it’s always fun to show them a little extra appreciation.

We’ve teamed with Nepris, through AT&T Aspire, to help teachers bridge that gap and bring the real world into their classrooms. Using the Nepris platform, teachers can “match” with industry speakers, including many at AT&T.

Teachers work tirelessly to engage their students.

But, despite their best efforts, students are still disengaged at school. There’s a disconnect between what they’re learning and why they’re learning it.

We’re connecting students with our company leaders and experts virtually. This exposure not only results in better education, but offers a link between teachers’ lesson plans and what’s waiting for students beyond school.
