AT&T Sponsors the 2018 BET Experience and Calls on You to 'Dream in Black'
As a sponsor of the 2018 BET Experience (BETX), AT&T challenges you to “Dream in Black.” Learn more about BETX here.
AT&T is celebrating black excellence in art and culture. We’re sponsoring the 2018 BET Experience at L.A. Live with our call to “Dream in Black.”
At L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles, June 21–24, the BET Experience (BETX) will host a bevy of concerts, games and other special events leading up to the BET Awards on Sunday, June 25.
We’ll be in on the action with special guests like recording artist and actor Bryshere Gray, recording artist Amara La Negra, DJ Snoopadelic and a whole lot more.
We’re also hosting this year’s Genius Talks. The one-on-one conversations between industry leaders explore hot topics in front of a live audience. This year, journalist Jemele Hill will host, interviewing actress and comedian Yvonne Orji, multicultural media executive Charles D. King among others.
These Hollywood change-makers will share their thoughts on being creatives of color, the current Black Renaissance and how “Dreaming in Black” can elevate your journey to success.
“‘Dream in Black’ is our call to action for people to not only dream big, but to boldly bring those dreams to life,” said Angela Burgin, Director of Marketing AT&T Hello Lab, Mobility and Entertainment. “Whatever your passion is, ‘Dream in Black’ encourages you to nurture it, work for it and share it with the world. AT&T is a longtime partner of the black community, and we’re always looking for new ways to help them achieve their dreams. This is about reimagining what’s possible. AT&T is proud to help power the possibilities.”
If you’re attending Fan Fest and didn’t get tickets to the 2018 BET Experience concerts, download the app for AT&T THANKS®, our customer appreciation program, and stop by the AT&T booth where we’ll give away over 75 tickets throughout the weekend.
BETX is a weekend of music, fun and more. But it’s also an opportunity to network with likeminded creatives and businesspeople. If you’re a black business owner, filmmaker or artist, be sure to bring your business cards with you. Because the new friends you meet at BETX may also be the ones to help you achieve your dreams.
