AT&T and BlackBerry today issued the latest software update for the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 with new key features and enhancements for both individual and enterprise customers.

This latest update to BlackBerry 10.2.1 includes features and productivity improvements such as:

  • Enhanced Bluetooth: Improvements have been made to make it easier to connect to Bluetooth devices and car kits than ever before.
  • Enhanced Photography: Take better pictures and videos with new camera enhancements such as improved focus and stability.
  • More Storage Space: Your BlackBerry 10 device can now support 64GB SD cards, giving you more space to save photos, videos, music and more.

You can update your software via FOTA (firmware over-the-air) or by using your computer and the BlackBerry Link software. (Wi-Fi is required.)  You will receive a notification on your BlackBerry Z10 or Q10 smartphone beginning on today.

For a successful install, we recommend the device has at least a 50 percent charged battery and access to a Wi-Fi network.  The software update process can take approximately 15-30 minutes and will not count against your data bucket.

Download the software update by going to the home screen, swipe in a downward motion and select Settings > Software Updates > Check for Updates and follow the on-screen instructions.  For more information please visit www.att.com/softwareupdates.
