AT&T is Frost & Sullivan’s Video Company of the Year for 2013. The analyst firm highlighted AT&T based on excellence in customer value, innovation and growth. This is the second time AT&T has won this award.
“Growing market share in a hyper-competitive market is not easy. It requires a combination of good strategy, significant innovation and attention to customer needs,” said Frost & Sullivan Information and Communication Technologies Analyst Gina Villanueva. “It’s noteworthy that AT&T continues to consistently thread the needle of consumer expectations, remain innovative and grow market share. We’re pleased to present this award to AT&T.”
In the last year, AT&T has added new enhancements for customers. These included innovative new apps, multi-screen content and new channels. U-verse Easy Remote, Facebook on TV, and an upgraded U-verse App for smartphones and tablet let customers interact with their TV much easier.

In 2012, AT&T added 709,000 U-verse TV customers, and as of first quarter 2013, had 4.8 million U-verse TV customers in service.
