AT&T Celebrates Black Music Month at the BET Experience
AT&T is sponsoring the 2017 BET Experience (BETX) in Los Angeles in honor of June being Black Music Month.
June is Black Music Month. To celebrate, AT&T is sponsoring one of the biggest events in music: The 2017 BET Experience (BETX) in Los Angeles.
This year’s BET Experience takes place in downtown Los Angeles from June 22-25 with events and concerts leading up to the BET Awards on Sunday, June 25. AT&T will be on-site all weekend at the BET Fan Fest with our “Be the Glow” experience, complete with a virtual reality demo, DIRECTV product showcase, and more.
Be the Glow is our nod to the intersection of black culture, socially conscious art and music, and technology. It’s known as “Afrofuturism,” and artists of all kinds are using mobile and online platforms to show the world how they embrace the phenomenon. Think of it as Entertainment Your Way™, served with a side of conscious culture.
AT&T will also sponsor several Genius Talks during BETX. Attendees will hear thought-provoking conversations between industry powerhouses and celebrities who excel in their respective fields.
