AT&T to Credit Our Wireline and Wireless Customers for All Calls and Text Messages from the USA to Ecuador
Our thoughts are with the people of Ecuador and our customers who have friends and family there.
AT&T will waive or credit charges incurred for consumer calls placed by AT&T’s customers from the United States to Ecuador between 4/16/2016 to 4/22/2016 in the local time zone. This includes landline, texting, and mobility (Postpaid and GoPhone) calls. DIRECTV Ecuadoris is also extending prepaid TV services through 4/23/2016 free of charge so viewers in Ecuador have access to public news and notifications.
As with any emergency, text messaging is recommended due to the possibility of network congestion in the local area.
