When the San Jose Earthquakes called on season ticket holders to ask what they could do to improve the overall experience, Michael Caughlan, a lifelong soccer fan, answered honestly: “Better players, more beer stands and, for sure, better food. I said, ‘Gourmet food trucks would rock.’ And they went ahead and did it! They started with a few trucks and now have several.”

Yet while the food improved, leaving his seat to get it still meant missing part of the game—especially when he brought along his two-year-old daughter Stella.
