By now, the savviest of deal-seekers should have mostly everyone crossed off their holiday shopping list. They’ve battled hostile crowds, waited in lengthy lines, and spent hours online finding the best deals—all with their mobile devices in tow. 

Cyber Monday 2013 saw an increase in data used on the AT&T network compared to an average day in November 2013. With the help of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), we were well prepared to handle the large amount of data traffic as people headed to the stores. 

Across the nation, people used approximately 2,700 TB of data on the AT&T wireless network on the busiest online shopping day of the year.

On the AT&T wireless network on Cyber Monday 2013, smartphones were popular, with customers logging approximately 2,600 TB using their smartphones.
