This week marks the 40th anniversary of National Volunteer Week – a time dedicated to honoring the people who accomplish the extraordinary through volunteer service and motivate others to follow their lead.

For well over 130 years, AT&T employees have generously donated their time and talent to support fellow citizens in need.  And this week, they will be out in force in volunteer activities across the country.

More than 4,000 AT&T employees have been honored with the 2014 President's Volunteer Service Award  for service to their communities.  These honorees, combined with thousands of other AT&T employee volunteers and retirees, contributed more than 5.3 million hours of service last year to communities across the country.  To learn more about one of the AT&T honorees, click here.
