In this short video, Reggie Shaw discusses his history with texting while driving. At the age of 19, he made the choice to send texts while driving, which resulted in a head on collision that instantly killed two men in the oncoming car.

Not only did his actions take the lives of two innocent people, they also landed him 30 days in prison. Alone and scared, Reggie served his time. “What was I thinking” and “it was clearly dangerous” are just two of the thoughts that plague his mind daily. He is passionate about making sure people don’t end up like him.

He has made it his mission to spread the word that texting while driving is irresponsible and the accidents that happen as a result are completely preventable. Don’t text and drive. It can wait.
