AT&T Brings Home Six 2016 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business
Six of our leaders were recognized amongst the top female executives worldwide at the 13th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business on Friday.
There were over 1,400 nominations for more than 90 categories. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 professionals worldwide who participated in the judging process this year. Congratulations to all of our winners!
Brooks McCorcle, Female Executive of the Year – Business Services, Gold Award
Celebrated for innovating the way AT&T goes to market, Brooks leads the majority of our indirect distribution channels. Her leadership transformed her team from a start-up organization into a growth engine for AT&T. They’ve contributed more than 25% of the 2015 incremental growth in strategic services for total AT&T Business Solutions.
Kay Kapoor, Woman of the Year, Silver Award
Kay led her team to win in the global public sector solutions market while establishing herself as a thought leader in STEM and women’s issues. This Stevie Award marks the 10th time in the last 2 years Kay has received recognition for her leadership and achievements.
Anne Chow, Mentor Coach of the Year – Business, Bronze Award
Anne has committed herself to coaching and developing others over the past 20 years. She’s passionate about education, diversity and advancing women in technology. She’s pioneered mentoring/sponsorship circles in each organization she’s led – a practice that’s spread across the company. Anne believes one of the greatest rewards in life is the ability to give back.
Vicki Jones, Maverick of the Year, Bronze Award
Vicki focuses on delivering an extraordinary and seamless customer experience. She leads Customer Experience and Operations and played a key role in the AT&T/DIRECTV merger planning efforts. She continues to find ways to improve the customer experience.
Cathy Martine, Female Executive of the Year – Business Products, Bronze Award
Cathy has led her team in strategic services revenue growth and the Project VIP Fiber program. She has received many awards, including 2 back-to-back Gold Stevie Awards for Executive of the Year and Mentor of the Year.
Sarita Rao, Innovator of the Year, Bronze Award
Sarita is honored for leading the transformation of AT&T’s approach to Enterprise Wi-Fi, and filling an emerging demand for managed Wi-Fi in an evolving marketplace. She champions big thinking and professional development as both a mentor and coach to emerging leaders, especially for women in technology.
