I recently spoke at this year’s Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Summit and shared some best practices on how entrepreneurs can power their bottom lines with social media. The good news is, it doesn’t matter whether you have 15 employees or 280,000. Social media is the great equalizer. According to Nielsen, online users are turning to social media more than email. Businesses need to shine through these cluttered networks and grab customers’ attention in a meaningful way.

It all comes down to turning your followers into fans. That means winning over their hearts and minds before delivering a strong call to action. It’s easier said than done. But here are six tips to do just that.
