AT&T Extends Relief to Customers Affected by Hurricane Michael
UPDATED: Oct. 19, 2018
AT&T Continues to Extend Relief to Customers Affected by Hurricane Michael
We continue to extend relief to AT&T Wireless and AT&T PREPAID customers in areas hardest hit by Hurricane Michael. We are extending credits and waiving data overage charges through October 21 to provide unlimited talk, text and data for customers in Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gulf, Liberty, Taylor, and Waukulla counties. Customers may still receive data alert notifications during these protected dates, but billing will reflect the credits and/or waived data charges.
In addition, we are also waiving or adjusting late payment charges for these customers for this month and next. The waiving or adjustment of these late payment credits will appear starting on bills in late October through late December.
We previously made credits available and waived overage charges for AT&T wireless customers with billing addresses and AT&T PREPAID customers with phone numbers in over 350 zip codes from Oct. 10 through Oct. 14.1 To see if your zip code was covered, click here.
Cricket Wireless Customers
As our communities continue to recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, Cricket is extending payment due dates to October 22, 2018 for customers in Bay, Gadsden, Jackson and Washington counties in Florida, and in Decatur County, Georgia.
Customers eligible for this benefit will receive a text message if they are in an affected area.
