AT&T and AUDIENCE Network® Premiere “My Fighting Season”
Next Installment of Ricky Schroder’s War Documentary Series Airs July 5
Real Footage. Real Stories. Real War.
Beginning Tuesday, July 5, AT&T* will air “My Fighting Season,” a 6 - part documentary series that follows US Army Soldiers fighting in Afghanistan from the unique perspective of their own cameras. Each episode will feature never before seen combat footage that offers viewers the heart pumping experiences of walking patrols, conducting medevac rescues, the human dimension of war, and fighting back against a ruthless and determined enemy.
“’My Fighting Season’ provides the viewer with the most realistic combat experience on the modern day battlefield ever shown,” said executive producer Ricky Schroder. “When you understand what we ask of these men, your respect for them reaches new heights. It's my privilege to introduce these soldiers’ and their stories to you.”
“My Fighting Season” is the sequel to “The Fighting Season,” which was produced by Ricky Schroder Productions and debuted on AUDIENCE Network last spring. “My Fighting Season” will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on AUDIENCE Network. It’s available exclusively to DIRECTV (Ch 239) and AT&T U-verse (Ch 1114) customers.
“AUDIENCE Network is proud to share the gripping, personal stories of our soldiers who are risking their lives to protect our nation,” said Christopher Long, senior vice president, Original Content and Production, AT&T. “Schroder spent over 100 days embedded with American Troops, giving viewers an unprecedented look into the experiences of the US Army in Afghanistan. Now, ‘My Fighting Season’ gives a first person perspective into the complex realities of the modern battlefield. This documentary was filmed by our warriors and is for everyone who wants to understand their sacrifices and dedication.”
“’My Fighting Season’ provides a compelling look at the character and conduct of modern war, from real soldiers on real missions, whose experiences impacted our nation and their lives. said Jim Rabon, retired Army Colonel and Executive Producer. ‘My Fighting Season’ is not a scripted production. It is their footage, their own words and their remarkable stories.”
