AT&T* is supporting the work to end LGBT youth homelessness with True Colors Fund this holiday season. AT&T invites the LGBT community and allies to take part in our Live ProudSM Holiday Campaign Nov. 1 through Dec. 31.

You can participate in this campaign to raise awareness of the LGBT youth homelessness crisis in two different ways: by participating in the AT&T Live Proud Holiday Sweeps and by sharing the campaign video.

You can enter the sweepstakes1 by tagging three of your friends using their @handles on the AT&T’S Instagram Post #ProudHolidaySweeps. You can also enter at att.com/liveproud. One winner can select 3 of their selected friends to join them on a trip to New York City to attend the 7th Annual True Colors Fund Home for the Holidays benefit concert presented by AT&T on Dec. 9, 2017. They will also meet concert host, legendary singer and longtime LGBT advocate Cyndi Lauper. The sweepstakes entry period ends Nov. 26, 2017.

The campaign will also leverage the reach of AT&T Live ProudSM by distributing an important video featuring Cyndi Lauper and True Colors Fund “True Fellows.”

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. Today 40% of America’s 1.6 million homeless youth are LGBT. The campaign video reveals important facts about LGBT youth and homelessness, and presents the work that the organization and its youth leaders are engaged in to help bring an end to this problem. Our goal is to reach 100,000 views. Help us spread awareness about this issue by sharing the video on social media.

True Colors Fund is a nonprofit organization that works nationally to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth. It was co-founded by Lauper in 2008. Each year, True Colors Fund hosts the annual benefit concert to raise money to support its work to end LGBT youth homelessness.

AT&T is supporting True Colors Fund’s events and programs with $100,000 in the form of sponsorship and contribution arrangements to expand its work to end LGBT homelessness.

“Live ProudSM Holidays continues our long-standing commitment to the LGBT community. And we are proud to support True Colors Fund in their work to end LGBT youth homelessness,” said Leonardo Torress, assistant vice president of Diverse Markets at AT&T. “A stable, nurturing environment is critical to a young person’s journey to adulthood. We’re honored to be part of this effort to end homelessness for a group as vulnerable as LGBT youth.”

Don’t forget to join the conversation on social media using #HelpLGBTYouth and #ATTLiveProud.
