DIRECTV NOW Adds More Than 25 Live Local Channels

130 Live Local Channels Now Available with Plans to Have at Least 170 Channels in the Coming Weeks

DIRECTV NOW has added more than 25 new live, local ABC, NBC and FOX affiliates over the last month. We now offer 130 local stations across more than 70 markets. Our new streaming video platform is available nationwide to anyone with a compatible device and an internet connection.

Streamers in nearly 70% of U.S. TV households can now watch their favorite live, local channels. We offer local ABC, FOX and NBC stations in the 7 largest metros – Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

Markets where local ABC, NBC and FOX affiliates recently launched, with over 20 markets getting live local coverage on DIRECTV for the first time, are:

We also recently announced DIRECTV NOW will launch nearly 25 local channels from CBS and The CW. When we add these and other affiliates in the coming weeks, we’ll offer over 170 live local channels on DIRECTV NOW in more than 80 markets.
