AT&T Brings ‘Be The Glow’ Experience to ESSENCE Festival

AT&T’s talent roster includes hip hop star Rev Run, talent from DIRECTV shows

AT&T* celebrates Black Music Month by bringing “Be the Glow” to the largest gathering for black music in the nation—ESSENCE Festival. It takes place in New Orleans June 29-July 2, 2017. Our Be the Glow experience highlights the intersection of black culture, socially conscious art and music and technology. It’s all about Entertainment Your Way™.

At ESSENCE, entertainment your way means bringing unique conversations and meet and greet opportunities with our amazing roster of talent, like hip hop legend, TV star and digital inspiration guru Joseph “Rev Run” and his wife Justine Simmons. Attendees can also meet stars from their favorite DIRECTV shows, like Golden Globes Winner Tracee Ellis Ross from the hit show “Blackish” and Boris Kodjoe from Code Black.

We’ll give attendees one-of-a-kind experiences at our Be the Glow activations, like a day in the life of Young Paris. We’re pairing ROC Nation Jay-Z’s newest protégé Young Paris with a custom Virtual Reality experience. We’ll also have exclusive performances from AT&T programming partner REVOLT and Bibi Bourelly.
