AT&T/MCMC 2015 Malaysia Developers’ Day Winners Celebrate

“Team Loopee” won the US$10,000 grand prize at AT&T/MCMC 2015 Malaysia Developers’ Day. The team received the title for app creation during the 24-hour application development contest.

The winning app is a smart toilet management cleaning system app. “Team Loopee” also won the best app for Smart City Solutions category.

Organizers Jake Jennings, executive director International External Affairs of AT&T* (right) presented the award to Team Loopee at The Co Bangsar on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015.

AT&T/MCMC 2015 Malaysia Developers’ Day took place during the KL Converge! and drew 128 contestants from all over Asia. The following teams and members took home prizes out of the 18 participating teams and 18 apps developed at the event:

  • Best app for Community Involvement – Team #TWITS  for an app called “Kale Collective” to reduce the inventory of expired food
  • Best app for Smart City Solutions – Team Loopee for a smart toilet management cleaning system app
  • Best app for Commercialization – Team Trevol for an app that can help users to plan their itineraries during travel
