Tens of thousands of soccer fans gathered in Denver this week to attend the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star Game. With our mobile network, fans didn’t have to worry about being the last one to post about a great performance to social media. When they’re favorite players were showing their skills on the field, our customers didn’t miss a beat thanks to our network.

To keep up with the amount of spectators, AT&T used a Cell on Wheels (COW) with a five-beam antenna to keep people connected at the soccer stadium. The COW works to boost network capacity, thus allowing you to stay connected easily.

Here’s what we saw from AT&T customers using our COW at the soccer stadium in Denver:

  • In total, more than 270GB crossed our in-venue mobile network.
  • 270GB is equal to 772K social media posts with photos.
