We might be moving to a software-defined network, but 6 of our women leaders earned some serious hardware Friday at the Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. The Stevie Awards is an annual competition recognizing outstanding performance in the workplace.

Cathy Martine, Mentor or Coach of the Year, Business, Gold Award

Recognized for her commitment to developing rising young leaders at AT&T to help them progress in their careers.  Cathy, president, Enterprise Business Solutions, also advocates for educating and mentoring youth outside of AT&T.

Kay Kapoor, Female Executive of the Year, Business Products, Gold Award

Awarded for her hands-on role in several high-stakes IT assignments. Kay, president, AT&T Government Solutions, helps government agencies stay connected, communicate key information and modernize their technology. 

Brooks McCorcle, Female Executive of the Year, Business Services, Silver Award

Honored for reinventing how AT&T thinks about distribution. Brooks, president, AT&T Partner Solutions, advocates for doing business differently. She created an innovative and collaborative organization that offers customers more choices in how to build, grow and profit with AT&T while reaching untapped opportunities.

Melissa Arnoldi, Maverick of the Year, Silver Award

Celebrated for affecting positive change within AT&T. Melissa, senior vice president, AT&T Technology Systems and Business Systems Strategy, championed an effort to help the 150,000-plus employees in her group prepare for change. She empowers employees to take on the status quo and find new ways to boost customer satisfaction.

Stacey Marx, Female Executive of the Year, Business Products, Bronze Award

Honored for her leadership in driving AT&T’s Fiber to the Building program forward. Stacey, vice president, AT&T Business Acquisition Solutions, helped grow Fiber Ready business sites to nearly 900,000.

Jamie Barton, Female Executive of the Year, Consumer Services, Bronze Award

Recognized for her focus on delivering an extraordinary and seamless customer experience. Jamie, executive vice president, Customer Sales & Service, AT&T Entertainment and Internet Services, played a key role in trimming call transfers while continuing to grow the business.
