AT&T is made up of more than 270,000 friends, neighbors and business partners, living and working in every corner of the United States. As an entity that believes in the power of grit and determination, and in a spirit of service, AT&T remains committed to helping veterans transition to the civilian workforce.

We’re a proud founding member of the Veteran Jobs Mission coalition. Over the years, we’ve put great emphasis on our military recruitment programs by increasing our outreach activities and showcasing career opportunities to the veteran community.

Since 2013, we’ve hired more than 15,000 veterans, part of our larger commitment to hire 20,000 veterans and veteran family members by 2020.

This is about our active duty and retired members of the Armed Forces. This is about honoring those who serve, each Veterans Day – and every day.

This year, AT&T and NPower are reaching military veterans and veterans’ spouses with the skills needed to succeed in tech careers at companies like AT&T and prepare them for life after the service.

NPower – with locations in Texas, California and New Jersey – supports veterans by offering core IT programs that prepare them for a career in technology. In addition to technical training and preparation to earn in-demand industry certifications, NPower provides individual support in areas like social services, professional networking and mentorship, job placement assistance and transit assistance. The program includes no-cost instruction and credentials.

In less than 6 months, veteran students can earn the skills required to launch a career.

This year, we’re turning to you to help us spread the word. For every view, like or share of this video, AT&T will donate $5 to NPower – up to $250,000. Or, you can text “HERO” to 27722, and AT&T will donate $5 to help us reach our goal.

Together, let’s honor those who serve us so bravely.
