A festival sponsor for 6 years in a row, the satellite pay-TV operator presented a new and exclusive activation called “Fun Station”, which entertained event attendees

SKY, the largest satellite pay-TV operator in the country, brought its exclusive space to entertain the crowd at the VillaMix Festival, which took place on Sept. 22nd at the Interlagos autodrome in São Paulo.

For this year’s festival, SKY created the Fun Station, a container with activations placed at the Villa Prime sector. Festival attendees enjoyed the SKY lounge between concerts and were able to charge their cellphones and capture their experience by having their picture taken at PhotoFreeze—a 3-D Photo Booth equipped with over 10 cameras all around, boomerang style. And there was more: those who took part of the experience had the change to repost and share photos on their social media channels using #SKYéMaisVillaMix. All activities were free of charge.

In addition to being a 6-time sponsor of the VillaMix Festival, SKY was also a first-time sponsor of the 2018 Lollapalooza Brazil as well as a 4- time sponsor for Rock in Rio in 2017.

“As an entertainment and content expert, SKY understands that our mission is to deliver the best kind of experience to the public, inside or outside of their homes. Being present at these events only emphasizes our ‘SKY is more’ concept in the entertainment world, like the mixing of music and fun,” said Alex Rocco, SKY’s Director of Marketing. Since 2012, SKY has sponsored hundreds of national and international events of all genres and for all ages.

With the goal of promoting a mix of all styles of music since its debut in 2011, the VillaMix Festival presents a line up full of attractions that are nationwide hits. This year, the São Paulo edition brought Jorge & Mateus, Wesley Safadão, Gusttavo Lima, Matheus & Kauan, Kevinho, Alok, Jefferson Moraes e Cleber & Cauan to rock the stage during the 11-hour event.
