Protecting the Dreamers

As supporters of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), we are pleased to see bipartisan legislation in favor of lawful permanent residence and eventually American citizenship for our nation’s Dreamers.

This aligns with AT&T’s corporate values and commitment to its employees to stand for equality.

With this proposed legislation, thousands of Dreamers will continue to have the liberty to work and study in America without the threat of deportation.

We celebrated when the Supreme Court upheld DACA last year, allowing nearly 700,000 young immigrants to continue to study and work in the U.S. And as a company, we will continue to advocate for policies that create a permanent legal status for DACA recipients, some of whom we count among our workforce.
