After a year of planning, renovating, hiring and training, we’ve unveiled our most advanced customer care facility. We transformed an old Chicago building into something exciting for our employees and our customers.

At this call center in Chicago, we are creating 500 new jobs in 2018. We’ve already hired about 300 and we expect to hire the remaining 200 by the end of the year. We’re hiring a diverse group of people from throughout the city – North Side, South Side and West Side.

Employees are already busy handling calls to support our customers with multiple AT&T products and services. We expect the Chicago call center to handle millions of calls each year.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner celebrated this jobs announcement with us at a ribbon-cutting event.

“We’re proud to make this investment here in Chicago and we’ve hired some of the city’s best people,” said Jamie Barton, AT&T executive vice president and head of Customer Care. “This is a great work environment with the latest tools designed to let our people focus on our customers and deliver a simple and intuitive experience.”
