AT&T Recognized for Helping Employees Succeed

The Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) recognizes companies who hire and promote the blind and visually impaired. This year they named AT&T “Company of the Year” for culture that gives all employees the opportunity to excel both personally and professionally.

DARS administers programs that help Texans with disabilities find jobs through vocational rehabilitation, ensure that Texans with disabilities live independently in their communities, and help families who have children with disabilities and developmental delays develop their full potential through transitional, vocational training programs and employment. The Blind Services division helps people who are blind or visually impaired develop their full potential through transitional and vocational training programs.
