Fast Balls and Placing Calls

Baseball fans took to their smartphones again at last night's Game 2. AT&T operates a Distributed Antenna System, or DAS, inside the ballpark to keep customers connected during every game. Here are some of the cool metrics outlining how AT&T customers used our network during last night’s game:

  • AT&T fans made more than 21,480 voice calls.  There were over 4,000 more voice calls made by customers at this game than at Game 1.
  • Baseball fanatics also sent more than 49,330 SMS text messages last night on our in-stadium network.
