Playoff Race Pushes Data

  • Our top five data-heavy pro venues from the past week showed that fans love to talk about winners and good games.
    • Out of the five venues above, no stadium hosted a game that was decided by a margin of more than 12 points.
      • In addition, 4 of the 5 games were within one score entering the fourth quarter.
    • Out of the five venues, 4 of the 5 home teams entered the week in playoff contention with two weeks left to play in the pro football regular season.
      • Of the 10 teams in action at these five venues, 80% of the teams entered the week in playoff contention.
