Fans were able to hear country hit “Downtown” live while in downtown Chicago, thanks to AT&T U-verse®. U-verse brought Grammy award-winning country group Lady Antebellum to Millennium Park on May 31 to celebrate the release of their new album, GOLDEN.

“Millennium Park in Chicago is a fitting setting for an event with Lady Antebellum as we celebrate their #1 single ‘Downtown’ and their new album,” said Tom Lord, Vice President, Marketing, UMG Nashville. “We are proud to work with AT&T U-verse on the event and to help celebrate the new music from Lady A.”

“We’re excited to bring Lady Antebellum to Chicago in celebration of their new album release,” said Dave Fine, Vice President and General Manager, AT&T Illinois and Wisconsin. “AT&T U-verse is all about bringing the latest in entertainment to our customers, so we’re thrilled to bring fans closer to the artists and content they love.”

Lady Antebellum and AT&T U-verse also gave fans who couldn't attend the concert a chance to interact with Lady A during a live Twitter Party on May 31st. Followers of @Uverse and @LadyAntebellum got insider access to the country music band, by taking questions from tweets using the hashtag #LadyAonUverse.

On the heels of their multi-week chart-topping lead single "Downtown," Lady Antebellum recently released their new single “Goodbye Town” as the second single off their fourth studio album GOLDEN. The result of a session between Haywood, Kelley, Scott and Josh Kear, “Goodbye Town” was written backstage during the trio’s OWN THE NIGHT 2012 WORLD TOUR.
