AT&T Helps ASSA ABLOY Open the Door to the Digital World
With AT&T FlexWare, Cybersecurity Services and Global Network Services
AT&T* is helping ASSA ABLOY transform its global business for the digital world. We have created an agile communications network with easy access to data in mind.
We will deliver a highly secure and flexible network, under a 3-year contract. At the heart of the solution is our AT&T FlexWareSM platform that enables intelligence at the edge that will allow businesses to analyze, protect and refine their network. With FlexWare, customers can deploy and manage their network functions, like routers and firewalls for example, more easily.
“With ASSA ABLOY’s leading edge technology in the online world, we give our customers considerable easy-to-use advantages. One example is how we solve the modern headache of missed parcel deliveries. Transferring data in a timely and secure way is crucial for our digital smart lock solutions. It’s why we’ve turned to AT&T, to gain access to an agile and data centric global network,” said Jens Nielsen, CIO at ASSA ABLOY.
ASSA ABLOY is the global leader in door opening solutions. The Group is creating future security solutions where digital identities can open doors, computers and printers as well as give access to many other functions at work and home. Simple flexible access under high security and control is by a smartphone, an ID card or fingerprint recognition.
ASSA ABLOY will use our global VPN and WAN acceleration, internet and remote access services across 350 global locations. It will use AT&T Cloud Web Security Services. We’re also providing mobile connectivity services to ASSA ABLOY employees in the US.
“We’re helping ASSA ABLOY evolve its business so that it’s ready to take on the digital needs of its customers. We built a global network tailored to them. It is centrally managed, agile and highly secure,” said John V Slamecka, region president, EMEA, AT&T.
