Gets the 2016 Women’s Choice Award® for America’s Most Recommended High-speed Internet, TV and Phone Service Provider

WomenCertified Inc. is the leading advocate for female consumers. As that, it honors AT&T* with the 2016 Women’s Choice Award® for America’s Most Recommended™ Service Provider. The award covers high-speed internet, TV and phone service.

Tens of thousands of women across America selected the brands they would highly recommend to their family and friends. A majority selected AT&T as their choice for top service provider.

“The Women’s Choice Award’s mission is to identify which brands are most recommended by women,” said Delia Passi, CEO and founder. “By carrying the Women’s Choice Award seal, companies like AT&T signify their commitment to empower women to make smart buying choices.”

“It is such an honor to be chosen by our customers as the most recommended brand for high-speed internet, TV and phone services. At AT&T, we work hard to provide great value and a seamless customer experience—to everyone. This award means we’re on the right path,” said Vicki Jones, senior vice president, AT&T Entertainment Group.

Female consumers represent a driving economic powerhouse. According to the Harvard Business Review2  they control 65%, or about $20 trillion annually, in global spending. And according to Continuum's Women and Children Research Group3 they control more than 80% of U.S. spending.

A recent global Nielsen report4 states 92% of consumers trust recommendations from people they know over any other form of advertising. This trust coupled with female consumer representation reveals the significance of being America’s Most Recommended brand by women.

Passi commented on how the Women’s Choice Award serves as a competitive differentiator in today’s cluttered marketplace by explaining.

“When a woman is willing to recommend a brand or service to others, it means that business has earned her loyalty. Those are the businesses we wish to recognize for their efforts and commitment to the number one consumer – women.”

“We salute AT&T for their focus on excellence, a commitment recognized by women consumers nationwide,” said Passi.

AT&T has earned the title of America’s Most Recommended brand in all 3 categories since 2014.
