AT&T U-verse to Make Watching SEC Network Even Better
DALLAS, August 14, 2014 — AT&T* U-verse® TV subscribers who love college sports are in for a treat. They will be able to watch a vast array of SEC Network content on their TV, computer or wireless devices and access exclusive interactive apps during the 2014-2015 football season.
As a proud corporate sponsor of the Southeastern Conference, AT&T U-verse was the first TV provider to sign on to carry the SEC Network and will offer fans an in-depth SEC experience. In addition to the SEC Network, U-verse TV also plans to launch a number of exclusive interactive apps during the season that will let TV customers:
- Play trivia games.
- Check out game schedules.
- View documentaries.
- Get the latest football stats, scores and schedules.
- Chat with SEC notables—such as former athletes, coaches and sports personalities—during football games.
The SEC Network will be available on U-verse TV channel 1607 (HD) and channel 607 (SD) and on WatchESPN starting Aug 14. Customers will also be able to watch live and on-demand SEC Network content at Uverse.com, WatchESPN.com and on tablets and smartphones via the U-verse App later this month. Additional games and coverage will be available via SEC Network + on WatchESPN and SECNetwork.com.

Customers will have access to more than 1,000 live events on the SEC Network and its accompanying digital offering in its first year, including at least 45 exclusive SEC football games, more than 100 men’s basketball games, 60 women’s basketball games, 75 baseball games, 50 softball games and other events from across the SEC’s 21 sports. The network will be an all-access pass to nationally competitive events, news and information, expert analysis, classic games and in-depth features on the most storied conference in college athletics.
States with a Southeastern Conference school will find the network in the U200 and above packages. The network will be in the U300 package and above in all other U-verse markets. States with a SEC school are:
