AT&T Launches Severe Weather Mix Channel on DIRECTV and U-verse Dedicated to Coverage of Hurricane Matthew
AT&T* has launched a Severe Weather Mix channel on DIRECTV and U-verse dedicated to coverage of Hurricane Matthew as the dangerous storm bears down on Florida’s east coast.

The *Severe Weather Mix (361-1) will provide national storm coverage from:
- Severe Weather Channel (361-2) dedicated to local and regional news from select affiliates in the affected area.
- CNN (202)
- Fox News (360)
- CNBC (355)
- WeatherNation (Channel 361)
- The Weather Channel (362)
Viewers of the Severe Weather Channel will initially see WPBF (ABC) West Palm Beach. As the storm moves north, additional channels will include:
- WESH (NBC) and WKCF (CW) Orlando
- WJCL (ABC) Savannah, Ga.
- WYFF (NBC) Greenville, S.C.
- WBAL (NBC) Baltimore, Md.
The Severe Weather Channel will switch between local affiliates to provide viewers with up-to-the-minute coverage. It is currently available on channel 361-1 and continue as weather conditions warrant.
*The Severe Weather Mix will also be simulcast on channels 205 and 600 – replacing Sports Mix.
U-verse
Viewers of the Severe Weather Channel on 1227 will see coverage from:
- WPBF (ABC) West Palm Beach
- WESH (NBC) and WKCF (CW) Orlando
- WJCL (ABC) Savannah, Ga.
- WYFF (NBC) Greenville, S.C.
- WBAL (NBC) Baltimore, Md.
The Severe Weather Channel will switch between local affiliates to provide viewers with up-to-the-minute coverage. It will be available to all U-verse customers by midnight ET on Oct. 7 and will continue as weather conditions warrant.
