AT&T Launches Ultra-Fast Internet Speeds in Cleveland

Speeds up to 1 Gigabit per Second Available on the AT&T GigaPower and AT&T Business Fiber Networks 

AT&T¹ today launched ultra-fast internet service in parts of Cleveland, Bedford Heights, Bedford, Shaker Heights  and surrounding communities.² Customers in those areas will be able to get speeds up to 1 gigabit per second³ (Gbps) in homes, apartments and businesses.

Internet speeds up to 1Gbps over our 100% fiber AT&T GigaPower and AT&T Business Fiber networks are blazing fast.

• Connect faster to the cloud, videoconferencing and more.
• Download 25 songs in 1 second, a TV show in 4 seconds or your favorite HD movie in less than 34 seconds.⁴
• Download 8,000 word processing documents in 1 second.
• Backup/restore 1 terabyte hard drive in 2.5 hours.

We’ll continue to expand our 100% fiber AT&T GigaPower network in parts of Barberton, Bay Village, Canton, Cleveland Heights, Mentor and surrounding areas.

AT&T Business Fiber is a blazing-fast Internet service available to businesses in AT&T Fiber Ready buildings. Eligible Ohio business customers in the Cleveland-Elyria, Canton-Massillon, Findlay, Dayton, Columbus, Springfield, Akron, Toledo, Sandusky, Cincinnati and Youngstown-Warren-Boardman market areas can now download and upload at speeds up to 1 Gbps.⁵

AT&T GigaPower offers a wide range of internet speeds to fit each customer’s needs, all the way up to 1Gbps for as low as $90 a month.⁶

AT&T GigaPower customers have access to the latest Wi-Fi technology. They can enjoy our best in-home Wi-Fi experience, faster Wi-Fi speeds, expanded coverage and support for all of their devices.

Customers may be able to choose between our award-winning DIRECTV or U-verse TV services. We have single, double and triple play offers to make it easy for customers to meet all of their needs in one stop.

The AT&T GigaPower network is currently available in over 2.2 million locations across 29 of the nation’s largest metro areas. We have plans to expand the availability of ultra-fast internet speeds up to 1 gigabit per second in parts of 27 more areas – at least 56 metros in total.

Ultimately, we’ll plan to reach more than 14 million residential and commercial locations with fiber.
