Jennifer Van Buskirk is President Northeast Region, AT&T Entertainment Group responsible for more than $17B in annual revenue. Her team is responsible for driving sales across fifteen states and the District of Columbia. The Northeast is home to nearly 3,000 company owned, national and authorized retail locations designed to delight customers.
Jennifer Van Buskirk, who took on her current role in December 2015, leads her team to deliver strong financial results and drive growth in key categories, such as prepaid, video services, and accessories. She sets the tone for more than 6,900 employees with a focus on developing a winning culture, innovation, and a relentless commitment to an excellent customer experience.
Previously, Jennifer was President of Cricket Wireless, a subsidiary of AT&T. She is credited with building AT&T’s premium pre-paid wireless business from the ground up, including launching Aio Wireless and managing the integration and brand transition of Cricket after AT&T’s acquisition of Leap Wireless in 2014.
Jennifer has held many roles throughout her 16-year tenure with AT&T. Prior to running Cricket, she was Senior Vice President of AT&T Mobility Strategy, where she was responsible for shaping long term plans and priorities to preserve value and create new growth opportunities. She also served as Vice President and General Manager of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets for North, Central and West Florida.
Jennifer was inducted into the 2015 Womenetics POW! Hall of Fame and was named one of the 2015 “Influential Women in Wireless” by Fierce Wireless. She was also among the National Diversity Council’s “Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology” and named to the DiversityMBA “Top 100 Under 50”. In 2013, she received a Bronze Stevie Award from Women in Business for “Female Executive of the Year”. Jennifer also serves on the Board of Yellow Pages Holdings, LLC.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
Jennifer is a vocal advocate for STEM education and an active blogger; currently the highest followed AT&T executive on LinkedIn. She lives in northern New Jersey with her husband of 20 years and their two children.
