Value Chain Map

Value chain maps display the primary activities and stakeholders associated with producing, selling and using a company’s services and products. This form of mapping allows us to see where pertinent business issues have impact.



At AT&T, our value chain is like an interconnected web. This map helps us recognize how each stakeholder in our value chain is linked to others, as well as how and where environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues affect our value chain.

Our regular stakeholder engagement assessment process identifies the ESG topics most relevant to our company, from the view of our internal and external stakeholders. Our most recent assessment was conducted in 2019 and represents our global operations, including WarnerMedia and Xandr.

In accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), we’ve highlighted the tier 1 (most material) topics from our latest assessment, mapped them to corresponding GRI Standards disclosures, and indicated leading stakeholder impacts. See our latest GRI Content Index for more information.
