Last time you heard from me, I was chillin’ on the West Coast ahead of the 2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Now, I’m back home in North Texas getting ready for the 2016 AT&T Byron Nelson.

In case you hadn’t noticed, I live for golf. I just can’t say “no” to anything when it comes to the game. Come to think of it, I can’t say “no” to anything … period. My head only bobbles “yes.”

My debut at Pebble Beach was so successful, the folks from AT&T decided to bring me back for this week’s tournament. They’ll be handing out special AT&T Byron Nelson bobbleheads molded in #ATTAthlete Jordan Spieth’s image to the 1st 8,000 fans through the gates on Saturday.

This is AT&T’s 2nd year as title sponsor of the AT&T Byron Nelson. This tournament has a great history and supports a great cause – the Momentous Institute in Dallas. Momentous uses technology to help students learn how to manage stress and other emotions. The AT&T Byron Nelson has raised $143 million for Momentous since 1968, transforming more than 100,000 lives. That’s a lot to bobble about!

Another thing to bobble about is the AT&T Digital Clubhouse at the TPC Four Seasons, home of the AT&T Byron Nelson. You can track golfers on the course via GPS on a touchscreen monitor, learn about AT&T Aspire and check out the It Can Wait virtual reality (VR) experience. The lesson there is to watch the road, not your phone, when driving. And never let a bobblehead take the wheel. Take the pledge.

AT&T is also celebrating a decade of good with TOMS, the “One for One” company known best for giving a child in need a pair of shoes for every pair it sells. I’ll be checking out the larger-than-life TOMS shoebox at the course and taking part in a VR giving trip to Colombia. I’ve always wanted to travel, but I can never get through airport security. The spring in my neck always sets off alarms. Hooray for VR! You can learn more about it here.

If you can’t make it to North Texas this week, check out all the golf action on DIRECTV, including a 4k broadcast of the 17th hole on Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22. Keep an eye out for me. I love to bobble on camera.

You can follow the latest news from AT&T and all of my bobble adventures in North Texas here. Wherever you’re watching, enjoy the tournament!
