As communities across Washington continue to face the impacts of devastating wildfires, our thoughts are with everyone affected. To help support the recovery efforts, AT&T has contributed $25,000 to the Colville Reservation.

Our wireless network is operating normally in impacted areas, and we continue to closely monitor conditions. We remain prepared to respond as needed, with a focus on keeping customers, their families and first responders connected.

Our thoughts are with those impacted by the Spokane wildfires. To help our wireless customers stay connected through this difficult time, we are waiving overage charges to provide unlimited talk, text, and data for AT&T Postpaid & Prepaid customers with billing addresses in zip codes* across affected areas.

Customers in these areas may still receive alerts during these dates, but accounts will reflect the credits and/or waived data, voice, and text charges.

We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to the first responders serving communities impacted by the wildfires burning across Washington state. The FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG) has been working to provide seamless communication for public safety in Washington, receiving five requests from public safety entities, including fire departments in hard-hit Spokane County.

To support these critical operations, the team has deployed dedicated assets from the FirstNet fleet, such as a Satellite Cell on Light Truck (SatCOLT) and Compact Rapid Deployables™ (CRDs). FirstNet ROG is backed by the dedicated FirstNet fleet of 190+ portable assets reserved solely for public safety, with additional support from AT&T Network Disaster Recovery (NDR) and its 750+ specialized response assets available to help support public safety communications.

Our FirstNet liaisons remain in contact with federal, state, and local officials regarding our deployment efforts to support public safety and the communities in impacted areas. As public safety’s partner, we will continue to focus on supporting this vital community and providing the connectivity they need.

Our hearts are with the communities affected by the devastating wildfires across Washington state. Overall, our wireless network continues to operate normally in affected areas, with the exception of one cell site in Spokane. To help minimize potential service disruptions during high demand periods, we’ve adjusted settings at surrounding cell sites in the impacted area.

The FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG) – led by former first responders – is on the ground and guiding the deployment of dedicated FirstNet assets and other solutions based on public safety’s needs.

As a reminder to our AT&T Postpaid & Prepaid customers in affected areas, we are waiving overage charges to provide unlimited talk, text, and data through Sept. 1, 2026. Please see the “Supporting Our Customers” section of this page for more information.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and remain focused on keeping you connected.
