Our program addresses quality-of-life issues with an emphasis on improving education and advancing community development.

We have a long history of supporting communities where we live and work. In the last 12 years, we’ve committed $600 million to advance education and create opportunity, particularly in historically underserved populations. AT&T is also further expanding its support to help close the homework gap.
AT&T Makes $2 Billion, 3-Year Commitment to Help Bridge the Digital Divide

In 2020, we spent $3.1 billion with Black-owned suppliers, surpassing a $3 billion two-year commitment to drive impactful and meaningful change with Black suppliers in the U.S. During the pandemic, we committed $11.5 million to create opportunities for Black and other underserved communities.

Together with our employees, we launched AT&T Believes, a company-wide localized effort to create positive change in our communities. We have been in these communities for over 140 years, but we took a different approach that started with the city of Chicago in 2018.

Our AT&T Mentorship Program pairs up-and-coming filmmakers with an established entertainment leader and mentor, to create short films that offer opportunities for more diverse voices to tell their stories.
