THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN SEEN THROUGH THE INTERACTIVE MOSAIC, A JOINT PRESENTATION BY ESPN AND DIRECTV
An invitation to witness, live and simultaneously, the most exciting moments of the first Grand Slam of the season.
The tennis year begins with a great event, The Australian Open: the first Grand Slam of the 2020 season, which will take place from Monday, January 20 to Sunday, February 2. And DIRECTV, in partnership with ESPN, proposes a unique way to experience the tournament through the Australian Open Mix, which will allow you to see in detail what happens during the first six days of the championship on the tennis courts in the city of Melbourne.
Specially designed for the most demanding viewers, ESPN EXTRA and DIRECTV will offer extended and exclusive coverage via the Australian Open Mix interactive mosaic that will deliver up to six matches simultaneously, corresponding to the first, second and third round, all on a single screen.
The platform, which is only activated for the Grand Slams (Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open), is composed of six channels, but it also enables access to each of the games separately—and, in addition, allows the viewer to check results and the statistics instantly.
