AT&T Business Expands Enterprise and Public Sector Connectivity Architecture with Amazon Leo Satellite

AT&T Business Expands Connectivity Architecture with Amazon Leo Satellite

AT&T Business and Amazon Leo announced a strategic agreement that will bring broadband services to AT&T Business customers nationwide. AT&T is the first major U.S. telecommunications provider to offer converged connectivity solutions that include Amazon Leo’s low Earth orbit satellite services into its world-class fiber and 5G networks, extending its business-grade connectivity with a new layer of resilient, fully managed connectivity.

The agreement addresses growing customer demand for solutions that extend beyond any single-access technology. Rather than positioning satellite as a standalone service, AT&T’s unified architecture enables customers to leverage the right connectivity option for their business needs through a single provider and experience. This architecture supports flexible networking options, allowing customers to integrate satellite connectivity seamlessly into their preferred IT and network environments.

AT&T’s confidence in Amazon Leo is grounded in extensive technical validation. AT&T and Amazon Leo are moving through a structured, phased deployment designed to ensure business-grade reliability before road availability.

“Customers have no shortage of connectivity options. What enterprise and public sector customers need is a connectivity platform that delivers greater reliability,” said Shawn Hakl, SVP and Head of Product, AT&T Business. “AT&T is uniquely positioned to provide that reliability by bringing together three critical network layers—fiber, 5G, and low Earth orbit satellite—into a single managed architecture. While others offer individual connectivity products, AT&T Business delivers a seamless experience designed to keep customers connected, protected, and operational, regardless of location, network conditions, or business demands. That is a meaningful distinction in the industry, and one that AT&T can deliver at scale.”

Expanding Connectivity Options for Enterprise and Public Sector Customers

The relationship with Amazon Leo strengthens the connectivity solutions available to AT&T's enterprise and public sector customers to stay connected in the field. By growing AT&T's connectivity portfolio of extensive terrestrial fiber and wireless networks with Amazon Leo's satellite capabilities, customers will gain access to a more resilient, multi-layered experience designed to keep critical operations running, even in the most challenging conditions.

“Amazon Leo delivers fast, reliable satellite broadband that builds resilience into networks and expands what's possible for customers. This secure connectivity is built to meet the demanding operations of enterprise, public sector, and government customers,” said Chris Weber, vice president of Amazon Leo Business & Product.

A New Layer of Infrastructure and Reliability Through Continued Innovation

AT&T's agreements with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon Leo enable AT&T to offer technology solutions designed to meet the evolving demands of modern enterprises.

The expanded technology solutions can deliver:

  • Enhanced network resilience and redundancy across technologies spanning terrestrial and satellite networks
  • Extended geographic reach to remote, rural, and previously underserved areas via Amazon Leo
  • Business-grade managed services powered by AWS and backed by AT&T's expertise in serving large-scale business and government

Details regarding service availability, pricing, and specific product configurations for enterprise customers will be announced in the coming months. Enterprise and public sector customers interested in learning more should contact their AT&T account representative.
