AT&T connects fans to the soccer experience wherever the game is watched. From packed stadiums to local restaurants to neighborhood watch parties, AT&T helps fans, businesses and communities stay connected when demand is at its highest. For more than 20 years, AT&T has helped grow the sport by bringing fans closer to the game through long-standing partnerships with leagues, teams, and athletes, including MLS, NWSL, U.S. Soccer, and the Mexican National Team.
Across the country, AT&T invested in connectivity at all 11 stadiums, along with major airports and transportation hubs, supported by broader network enhancements that help deliver more reliable, high-speed connectivity during soccer’s biggest moments – with benefits that extend beyond match day. Those upgrades are backed by coordinated, real-time planning, and on-the-ground support designed to perform when demand peaks.
“AT&T has been investing in this sport, these athletes, and these communities for years – and we've been building the network to match,” said Kellyn Smith Kenny, chief marketing and growth officer, AT&T. “This summer, whether you're in the stadium or on your couch, we're making sure every goal, every call, and every moment reaches every single fan.”
Supporting Public Safety
FirstNet®, Built with AT&T – the only network built with and for America’s first responders – is closely coordinating with federal, state and local partners to help ensure they have the mission-critical communications they require. Every stadium and its surrounding areas are covered with Band 14 spectrum to provide first responders with dedicated connectivity when needed. The FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG), led by former first responders, will be on-site to provide an unparalleled level of support. In addition to the 750+ AT&T deployable assets nationwide, FirstNet is the only network with a dedicated fleet of 190+ portable assets reserved solely for public safety. ROG has placed more than a dozen portable cell sites across the host cities on hot-standby for extra redundancy.
