DALLAS, April 29, 2014 — Deciding what to watch just got easier for AT&T* U-verse® TV customers. AT&T introduced two new TV features to help customers find popular, personalized content: What’s Trending and On Demand Recommendations.

The U-verse What’s Trending feature shows you a dynamic list of the most popular shows being watched in your area. From the list, you can tune directly to the shows. The information is current, and refreshes every few minutes. Select “U-verse What’s Trending” from the Live TV menu to access the information.

With U-verse’s new On Demand Recommendations, you get personalized suggestions for TV shows and movies that interest you. The feature uses criteria like interests and plot to make personalized recommendations. You can also:

  • Discover new titles based on what you watch most
  • Find similar titles with the “More like this” feature
  • Rate what you’ve watched to see more of what you like
  • See what’s “Most Popular” from a growing catalog of thousands of movies and shows

Press the On Demand button on your remote and go to “Recommendations” to start browsing.

“With such extensive live and on demand offerings on U-verse TV, we wanted to give customers an easy way to discover and watch the content they want,” said Mel Coker, chief marketing officer, AT&T Home Solutions. “What’s Trending and On Demand Recommendations are great examples of how we’re making TV-watching personalized for our U-verse customers.”
